Display & Storage

I'd like to display some of the kids artwork and also incorporate some pieces that I already have into the entrance & hallway.

We need somewhere to put all our shoes, bike shoes, soccer boots, crocs, sandals, walking boots, gumboots etc.. etc... as well as bike helmets & school bags. I thought some wicker baskets with lids would be good for this - cheap and can always be changed if needed. Maybe with a bench seat over them?

Also coats, scarves and the like are always handy at the door.

I'm thinking of using my Vintage Mirror with the scalloped edges somewhere in the entry and also and old chair that I have.

For kids artwork display I currently have an IKEA curtain track as shown above, but would like to have 2 more of these. I like the idea of photos leaning on a rail, so they can be easily changed.

Maybe an old ladder for hanging scarves etc... would be useful too.

It sounds alot and I don't want it looking too busy, so will just see how things go, maybe some ideas will have to be changed or left out.
