I live in a boring ugly house built in the early 1970's..... now since I was also built in the early 1970's we have a few things in common!!! I love the location of our house, a block from the beach with some lovely restaurants, walking distance to the Primary School, a short drive or bus trip to the High School. I especially like it when the kids get home from school. I finish my 'working day' and get a few chores done, then I sit outside on the daybed and have a glass of wine whilst listening to the waves on the beach.
As an avid reader of all the house and garden magazines I thought maybe it was about time I started putting some dreams and ideas into reality, rather than just wishing things would happen I need to get into it and do it!!! so here goes.....
THE 5 YEAR PLAN
Why 5 years???
Well... money and time and time and money......
I don't want to borrow too much so will make do with most things until I can afford them, what I can't afford I will make or make-do.
We have been here for 10 years already and have done a few bits and bobs, so I will try to find some old photos to scan so you can see what the house started out like.
Bear with me, some weeks I will blog LOTS, and others not so much......
